Kelly Livingston, Master Personal Trainer
Certification/Education:
AAAI/ISMA: Advanced Personal Trainer, Advanced Aquatics, Cycling, Advanced Yoga, CPR/AED
Training motto: “Earn your shower”. Showing up is not enough, I ask all my members to give it all they have, to break through their personal exercise bearers and move on to the next fitness level.
Experience/ Specialties:
Kelly has over 24 years of experience as an athletic trainer. She spent twelve years as the fitness coordinator for Pico Sport Center at Pico Ski Resort in VT. During that time she worked with both amateur and elite athletes in the ski and snowboard industry. Training ranged from off snow conditioning, competition preparation and rehabilitation for injured athletes. She spent six years at Green Mountain at Fox Run, one of the top weight management spa’s in the USA as a Senior Fitness Trainer where she worked with individuals afflicted by eating disorders, obesity, diabetes and cardiopulmonary disease.
Currently, Kelly is assisting Jordan Hospital with their Wellness Program and Beat Cancer Boot Camp as a Troop Leader. BCBC is an exercise and support group for people dealing with cancer or supporting friends and loved ones afflicted with cancer. Kelly has a wide range of experience to draw from when working with new individuals. Regardless of your goals, fine tuning your lifestyle choices will help you achieve them.
Train to play:
Pick and activity or goal you are training for. Outdoor cycling, improve your garden, become more flexible for next year’s ski/ snowboard season, increase your endurance to play ball with your kids! Whatever your personal goals are stay active and choose exercise routines in the gym that compliment them. My personal training experience has shown me time and time again that training is not enough. Use your energy, muscles and endurance in your life outside of the gym. This is a true lifestyle change that will stay with you year after year.
